Scouting is for youth from 11 to 18. It provides fun, excitement and outdoor opportunity. The program is designed to develop family and community relationships. Troop 220, chartered by Bellevue Heights United Methodist Church, is a boys and girls troop. Scouting is designed to help these boys and girls develop into productive young men and women. Boy Scouting is about helping others, doing your best, and finishing the race rather than always winning.

We believe that character counts. We take every opportunity to let these kids grow and develop into strong leaders by teaching strong values. We believe that they learn best by doing and learning from their mistakes. We provide an environment where they can safely make mistakes and grow from them. Although we are chartered by a Methodist Church, Troop 220 welcomes Scouts and families from all faiths. We encourage the young men and women to follow the Scout Oath, Law and Motto every day of their lives.
